my first commissioned project...

My mother-in-law asked if I would be interested in creating a book for her friend about her daughter's first communion. I thought it would be a great challenge to take on. I had 3 months to complete it as my mil was away on vacation for the summer. I have never completed a mini book before so I wasn't sure how to tackle it. I settled on going with coordinated papers as it seemed the best way to create flow. I found a great little 8X8 book from Little Yellow Bicycle with papers from the zinnia line. It included some stickers and papers and I purchased other pieces from the line so I would have lots to work with. With some of the leftover product I created 3 blank layouts that they can add their own photos to.
I haven't given it to my mil yet but here's a sneak peek for everyone else.

Some of the layouts have hidden jounalling tags where special messages can be written

This layout is a double page spread
