October Design Team Reveal

Time for another reveal!

This month's kit had some awesome Fancy Pants papers, Pink Paislee letter stickers, buttons, chipboard stars, tire track ribbon and loads of card stock to work with. I had already purchased some of these papers prior to getting my kit so I was super excited to work with it. I love Kraft papers. I like the muted tones and earthy feel and I especially like them when they are distressed. Be sure to check out all the other designer's layouts in the TSF gallery.

Just Cruisin' is a simple layout that leaves the focus on the photos. I used some bling to create a road then cut out all the little cars. The large car is chipboard and the window has glossy accents on it to look like glass. I used the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge to create the title.

(Items not from the kit: kraft cardstock, screw top brads, brushed metal brads, Fancy Pants chipboard car)

For the 'so full of wonder' layout I wanted a rough, distressed look so I crumpled some papers and used an edge distresser. I used George on the Cricut create the star that mimics the ones in the paper. The ledger frame was cut from around a die cut sheet, crumpled then stapled to the background.

(Items not from the kit: jillibean soup letters, green cardstock, rose moka mini letter stickers, star brads)

For 'attitude what attitude?' I used some raffia to tie the buttons which brings out the hay in the photos. I sprayed the chipboard stars with tattered leather glimmer mist and distressed the background cardstock.

(Items not from kit: maya road mini chipboard alpha sprayed with glimmer mist, we R memory keepers rub ons)

I tried something a little different on this card. I made a tag on my Cricut then added an eyelet and some jillibean soup twine and hung the inside message.

( Items not from kit: jillibean soup twine and mini monogram letters, brads, fancy pants chipboard arrow.)

Have I mentioned how much I love all the new products from Jillibean Soup?? So many unique pieces to add to layouts. Most of my layouts use Tim Holtz distress ink in vintage photo and I also use a lot of Glossy accents which isn't always easy to see in photos.
